What you need to bring for SMS.
SMS in Pro and above relies on infrastructure your company owns and operates. Two short prerequisites:
Twilio account & configuration
Your company creates its own Twilio account, purchases the phone numbers it wants to send from, and completes Twilio's required configuration (A2P 10DLC registration, sender IDs, messaging service). Once the account is provisioned, you supply us with the credentials and Exaltis handles delivery from there.
Android SMS gateway phone
For Android-based SMS, your company designates one Android phone with an active SIM card to act as the gateway. You install the Exaltis connector app we provide on that device, sign it in, and leave it powered on and connected. SMS traffic for the affiliated workspace flows through that handset.
Pricing questions, answered plainly.
- Do you charge a fee on every ride?
- No. Exaltis is a flat monthly subscription. There are no per-ride, per-trip, per-booking or per-vehicle fees on any plan.
- Is there a setup fee?
- Yes. Each plan has a one-time setup fee that is charged on your first invoice. The exact amount is shown on every plan card above, next to the monthly price.
- How does the free trial work?
- Every plan starts with a 21-day free trial. No card is required to start, and your workspace is live the same day.
- Is there a long-term contract?
- No. Plans are billed monthly or yearly and you can switch tiers at any time. Yearly billing is discounted; the discount is itemized on the plan card.
- What is the Welcome Sale?
- A launch discount on the Pro and Enterprise plans. It applies automatically to orders placed while it is running; the end date is printed on the plan card next to the discount.
- Are drivers, dispatchers or users limited?
- No. All plans include unlimited drivers, dispatchers, users and vehicles.
- Do I get iOS and Android apps?
- Core includes progressive web apps (PWA) for the driver, passenger, dispatcher and admin roles. Pro and Enterprise add the native iOS and Android Exaltis app; Enterprise can white-label it with your own logo.
- What do I need for SMS?
- SMS is included from Pro. You bring your own Twilio account (with A2P 10DLC registration) or designate one Android phone with an active SIM as an SMS gateway; the requirements are described further up this page.
- Who builds and runs Exaltis?
- Exaltis is a product of Union Solutions LLC, based in Texas. It was built by a Houston limousine operator and runs his own fleet every day.
